We are delighted to congratulate Rashada Harry for being named a winner at the TechWomen100 Awards 2020.
The TechWomen100 Awards highlight inspirational women within the technology sector covering a wide range of roles such as Quantitative Analyst, Data Scientist, Analytical Measurement Technologies Engineer, Prototyping Engineer and Assistant Professor.
The Awards not only highlight successful and influential women, they also ensure that female technologists coming through the pipeline have a platform to shine.
Rashada co-leads Women@AWS for Amazon in the UK, she is a mentor to individuals both within AWS and Amazon, she also volunteers as an inclusion ambassador to support the organisations important work on diversity and inclusion.
I always say that we have two hands: one to help ourselves up, and another to help those behind us.
Rashada has been involved with many iniatives and was recognised by the UK Prime Minister for her volunteer work and helping the next generation pursue careers in STEM and was awarded a UK Point of Light award in 2018.
Recently she has been named as a top 50 most inspiring and influential black voice in UK tech (Tech Nation, 2019) and was recognised as one of the UK’s top 100 Ethnic Minority Leaders (Empower and Yahoo, June 2020).
