Business Prime has launched in the UK

Thanks to the benefits it provides for businesses of all sizes in the UK, the new service will make purchasing on Amazon.co.uk way simpler, and far more convenient.

Members can now access Prime delivery benefits, such as unlimited fast delivery (through One-Day, Same-Day and Nominated-Day delivery) and tools to analyse purchasing trends and set procurement policies. The new membership enables customers to visualise spend data and identify money-saving opportunities – and to set policies to improve compliance with their purchasing policies and maximize their budget.

As it stands, Amazon Business already serves a wide variety of businesses across various sectors, and it covers over 50% of FTSE 100 companies and 80% of the largest universities - in the UK alone. With Business Prime launching, customers can now select a plan that’s suited to their business needs.

The benefits are:

Enables Amazon Business account administrators to identify preferred suppliers and products, and to restrict specific product categories if required. What it does, is offer buyers greater insight into company policies or recommendations while shopping. It also helps businesses reduce rogue spend, consolidate suppliers and improve compliance with their purchasing policy.

Provides advanced visualisations of company spend in ready-to-present graphics (powered by AWS QuickSight). The main advantage is that it reduces the time it takes to download, analyse data and discover spending trends.

Offers every business user access to unlimited One-Day Delivery for no additional fee - and no minimum order is required. Members also qualify for Same-Day delivery in selected areas and Nominated-Day delivery to the UK, plus unlimited Two-Day delivery to the Republic of Ireland.

Provides Business Prime members with exclusive access to offers from our partners, such as 60% off Xero accounting software for 12 months. And customers can also access tens-of-thousands of amazing deals on 15th and 16th July as part of Prime Day 2019.

Based on the number of users on their business account, Amazon Business customers can sign up for an annual Business Prime membership - and select a package that best suits their business.

The membership options are:

• Basic: £80/year ex VAT for up to 3 users
• Small: £250/year ex VAT for up to 10 users
• Medium: £600/year ex VAT for up to 100 users
• Unlimited: £4,500/year ex VAT for unlimited users
