For almost two decades, Amazon has made music available to customers in the UK with the click of a button. Beginning with CDs and vinyl, then adding digital downloads, streaming for Prime members through Prime Music, to the latest addition of the full catalogue streaming service Amazon Music Unlimited, we give our customers the freedom the ability to listen to the artists they want, when they want, and in the format they want.
We continue to work with and listen to not only our customers, but also very importantly with artists and their labels across all genres. The music industry in the UK is evolving almost every day, and we encourage this progression to help our customers connect with the artists they already know and love, as well as those in which they have yet to discover. Artists create the songs that customers love. At Amazon, we connect the two.
“We’re thrilled to be sponsoring the Music Week Awards for 2017,” said Paul Firth, Head of Amazon Digital Music UK. “The Amazon Music team has been working hand-in-hand with labels and artists for 18 years to help our customers discover, buy, download and now stream great music through Prime Music and Amazon Music Unlimited in the UK, so we’re proud to be involved in an awards ceremony that celebrates excellence within the UK music industry.”
