We’re excited to let you know that the new streaming service Disney + is now available in the UK on Fire TV devices such as Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Cube as well as compatible Fire tablets.
Disney+ offers fans of all ages a new way to experience the unparalleled content from the company’s iconic entertainment brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, as well as exclusive original programming including feature-length films, series, documentaries, and short-form content made exclusively for the service such as such as The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and The World According to Jeff Goldblum.
Just Ask Alexa
Fire TV makes it easy to search for and discover Disney+ content with Alexa. Using the Alexa Voice Remote included with your Fire TV, Fire TV Cube with Alexa built-in, or a paired Echo device, you can open the app by saying “Alexa, open Disney+.” You can also easily launch specific content exclusively available in Disney+ — just say “Alexa, watch [name of show]”. Fire TV’s universal search feature makes it easy to find shows or movies you’re looking for.
Not sure exactly what you want to watch? Try saying something like “Alexa, find Star Wars movies.” Disney+ content will now appear in these searches.
On the Go
Download movies, TV series or shorts, and watch whenever you want on your compatible Fire Tablet. Pick up where you left off from your Fire TV if you need to rush out of the house half way through your favourite movie.
Fire TV and Fire Tablet customers will be able to sign up for Disney+ right on their devices for £5.99/€6.99 per month or £59.99/€69.99 for an annual subscription. We are so excited to welcome Disney+ into your home, happy streaming!
