Amazon has announced that Her Majesty The Queen’s Christmas Day message will be made available to listen via Alexa, for the second consecutive year.
After millions tuned in via broadcast, radio and Alexa in 2020 to listen to The Queen’s annual festive address, Amazon Alexa device users across the Commonwealth will have the opportunity to hear this year’s speech from Christmas Day at 3pm GMT.
To listen to the message, simply ask, “Alexa, play The Queen’s Christmas Day Message” or “Alexa, play Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas Day Message” from 3pm GMT on Christmas Day and the official audio recording of the speech will play in full.
“After customers enjoyed asking Alexa to play Her Majesty The Queen’s Christmas Day Message last year, we’re thrilled to provide the experience across the Commonwealth again this year,” said Eric King, Director of Alexa Europe.
“At a time when we come together to reflect and look forward, we hope that this digital innovation will continue to delight customers.”
For Alexa customers across the Commonwealth, and beyond, the speech will be available to those with Amazon Alexa devices (Echo, Echo Plus, Echo Dot, Echo Show, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Stick) set to languages including, eng_UK, eng_US, eng_AU, eng_CA and eng_IN.
To hear the audio simply ask Alexa:
- “Alexa, play The Queen’s Christmas Day Message”
