Whether you’re a Prime member enjoying fast, free delivery and same-day deliveries in over 100 towns and cities or just someone who appreciates low prices and selection, Amazon makes shopping easier for its customers — including the stars of some of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios' biggest TV series and films.

As part of the Prime Video Presents: Trailblazers event in London on 1 October, which celebrated the women of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, About Amazon got to chat to The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’s Sophia Nomvete, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Markella Kavenagh, and Megan Richards, as well as My Fault: London’s Asha Banks — and each star gave us a look at what’s currently on their Amazon Wish List.

Sophia Nomvete – The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Sophia Nomvete in The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power

In The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Reading-born actress Sophia Nomvete plays the role of princess Disa, who passionately protects her children Gerda and Gamli. As the proud mother of a young daughter in real life, Nomvete said her next Amazon purchase will be a dreamcatcher to try and keep any nightmares at bay.

“She’s had a couple of nightmares about monsters in the cupboards because she keeps watching Halloween cartoons,” Nomvete said. “If I go home and there is not an Amazon package of a dreamcatcher for my daughter, there will be no point in going home!”

Luckily, Amazon is home to a wide range of dreamcatchers to suit any bedroom colour scheme so parents can ward off any orcs (or other creepy creatures) in no time.

Nomvete also relies on Amazon’s fast delivery when she needs a birthday present for one of her daughter’s friends in a pinch. She joked: “Amazon saves the day when mummy has completely forgotten it’s whoever’s birthday the next day”.

Fortunately for Nomvete, Amazon’s unbeatable selection of toys and games from brands including Fisher-Price, Hasbro, and Lego means she’ll have no trouble finding a last-minute gift.

Cynthia Addai-Robinson — The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Accountant 2 (upcoming)

Cynthia Addai Robinson in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Ruling as Tar-Míriel in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and investigating criminals in The Accountant 2 isn’t easy, but Cynthia Addai-Robinson can always count on Amazon to stay stocked up on her essentials.

“It’s all the odds and ends I buy,” Addai-Robinson explained. “Toiletries, books — I love that you can find almost anything you need there. It’s the store to end all stores!”

If you’re a book lover like Addai-Robinson, Amazon is your must-visit destination for hard-hitting thrillers, tear-jerking romances, or thought-provoking non-fiction.

Asha Banks — My Fault: London

Guests at the Prime Video Presents: Trailblazers event were given an exclusive first look at UK Original movie My Fault: London, a British adaptation of the first book in Mercedes Ron’s bestselling Culpables trilogy starring St. Albans-born Asha Banks.

While this may be an exciting time for Banks, her favourite thing to buy from Amazon keeps her relaxed — and feeling her best.

“I buy spearmint tea bags on Amazon,” she said. “It’s great for your skin!”

Markella Kavenagh — The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Markella Kavenagh in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Australian actress Markella Kavenagh portrays the inquisitive and curious Harfoot character Nori Brandyfoot in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. She now lives in London, where the second season of the show was filmed, and told us she loves “the live music scene, the food, the people — even the weather.”

But when she’s not channelling Nori’s inquisitive nature by exploring the UK capital, Kavenagh spends a lot of time travelling while filming, and she’s got one thing on her Wish List to brighten up her journeys.

“I’ve been eyeing a Kindle,” she said. “I’ve been carting some books around, and I love a paperback book, but I think I’ll have to try the Kindle.”

While Kavenagh decides which Kindle device is right for her, you can join the e-reader revolution yourself by shopping for a Kindle on Amazon. Once you’ve got your Kindle, you’ll never run out of brilliant books to add to your reading list — check out the Kindle Books store to discover daily deals and special offers on the latest bestsellers.

Megan Richards — The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Megan Richards in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

In her role as Harfoot Poppy Proudfellow in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Megan Richards is immersed in the beautiful greenery of Middle Earth — so it’s perhaps unsurprising to learn that she has a green finger outside of her role in the show.

When asked what she last bought on Amazon, she told us: “I bought plant food because I needed to look after my plants.

“I’m a plant mama,” Richards said. “It’s very key to me and my aesthetic.”

Any fellow plant parents can keep their greenery happy without worrying about running out of plant food with Amazon’s Subscribe & Save option, available on top houseplant care brands like Baby Bio.
