Exciting news for Good Omens fans! The beloved duo Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant) are back for an ineffable second season. All six new episodes will be released exclusively on Prime Video on Friday 28 July.
After the global success of the first season, which was based on the best-selling book by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, the second season is co-creator Neil Gaiman’s answer to the calls of fans keen to see more of the eternal saga of the unholy duo. The new episodes will delve deeper into the unique friendship between these two unlikely companions as they navigate life among humans in London’s vibrant Soho district.
When the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) shows up at Aziraphale’s bookshop with no memory of who he is or how he got there, Aziraphale and Crowley team up once again to solve the mystery and potentially disrupt heaven and hell in the process. The mystery will take viewers from before The Beginning, to biblical times, grave robbing in Victorian Edinburgh, the Blitz of 1940s England, all the way through to the modern day.
Look out for familiar faces from season one like Doon Mackichan as archangel Michael, Gloria Obianyo as archangel Uriel and Miranda Richardson as demon Shax, Maggie Service as Maggie and Nina Sosanya as Nina in new roles. Rounding off the cast are newcomers Liz Carr as angel Saraqael, Quelin Sepulveda as angel Muriel, and Shelley Conn as demon Beelzebub.
Can’t wait for season two? All six episodes of season one are available to watch now.
