Set against the backdrop of Australia’s breathtaking natural landscape, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, tells the emotionally compelling story of Alice Hart who tragically loses her parents in a mysterious fire aged nine. When Alice is taken to live with her grandmother June at Thornfield flower farm, she begins to uncover the secrets about her family’s past. As she navigates her complicated past, Alice’s journey builds to an emotional climax when she finds herself fighting for her life against the man she loves.
The series stars Oscar-nominated, British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) and Golden Globe-winning actress Sigourney Weaver (Avatar, Alien), Gold Logies and Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) award winner Asher Keddie (Nine Perfect Strangers, Offspring), Leah Purcell (The Drover’s Wife: The Legend of Molly Johnson, Wentworth), Alycia Debnam-Carey (Fear the Walking Dead, Saint X) and more.
The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is produced by Amazon Studios, Made Up Stories and Fifth Season. It is executive produced by Jodi Matterson, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Sigourney Weaver, Sarah Lambert and Glendyn Ivin. Glendyn Ivin directed all seven episodes and Sarah Lambert serves as the showrunner.
