Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.
The show stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) as Lucy, an optimistic Vault-dweller with an American can-do attitude. Aaron Moten (Father Stu) plays Maximus, a young soldier who rises to the rank of squire in the Brotherhood of Steel, a militaristic faction that aims to bring law and order to the wasteland. Walton Goggin (Justified) appears as the Ghoul, a morally ambiguous character who holds within him a 200-year history of the post-nuclear world.
These character’s paths collide as they pursue an artefact from an enigmatic researcher that has the potential to change the power dynamic in this world.
