From this week, cancer charities will take centre stage on AmazonSmile, to mark World Cancer Day - a global initative launched to raise awareness, show support and take action in the fight to treat, prevent, and find a cure for the disease.
Every time a customer shops at smile.amazon.co.uk, Amazon donates a percentage of the eligible net purchase price to the charity that the customer selects.
Since launching in the UK, Amazon has donated over £160,000 to cancer charities large and small chosen by customers, including Cancer Research UK and CLIC Sargent. To date, Amazon has donated over $100 million to a variety of charities across the UK, US and Germany.

Cancer Research UK and CLIC Sargent are just two of the many charities benefitting from AmazonSmile that support cancer research, treatment and better the lives of those affected by the disease.
