From 15 October to 9 November, for every two eligible products purchased in the same order by customers on Amazon.co.uk, Amazon and its supplier partners will donate a third item at no additional cost to shoppers via the Multibank charity. The campaign aims to donate 200,000 essential items to Multibanks across the UK.
The initiative launched in January 2025 and saw more than 660,000 hygiene essentials donated to Multibanks across the UK in its first run.
Commenting during last year's campaign, Eugenie Teasley, Amazon UK’s Head of Impact, said: “Our customers were overwhelmingly supportive of our first You Buy. We Donate campaign earlier this year and as winter draws closer and families face increasingly difficult times, we wanted to team up once again with our partners in support of The Multibank in London and across the UK.
“The You Buy. We Donate campaign offers Amazon customers the opportunity to make a huge difference to the lives of families in need while buying their everyday essential items.”
How can I take part in ‘You Buy. We Donate’?
Hygiene poverty remains a critical issue in the UK, with Amazon-commissioned research showing 20% of UK adults are worried about being able to afford basic hygiene products. The You Buy. We Donate campaign is part of the company’s wider mission to help tackle poverty across the UK.
For every two eligible oral care, personal care, baby care, or household products you buy in the same order on Amazon.co.uk, Amazon and its supplier partners will donate a third item to a Multibank at no additional cost to you.

What products are included?
This year's campaign covers a wide range of everyday essentials, including:
- Oral care: toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mouthwash
- Personal care and hygiene: deodorant, incontinence pads, sanitary pads, body wash, toilet paper, and toilet tissues
- Baby care: baby nappies and baby wipes
- Household care: air freshener, household surface cleaner, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, and kitchen roll

What is a Multibank?
A Multibank is a clothes, bedding, baby, and hygiene bank all rolled into one. The idea is simple: companies have surplus goods, while local charities and care professionals know the people who need them. Amazon and The Multibank connect the two.
Six Multibanks now operate across the UK, including in the West Midlands and Manchester, and they have provided more than 22 million essential items to over three million families nationwide to date.
